Looking for a Home…

We have a few friends looking for homes right now and would love your help spreading the word. Let’s find a couple of great homes for Squish and Shadow!

Squish (aka Squeak)

This beautiful 3 year old girl has been living at our clinic for a few years and is, unfortunately, not cut out for the clinic cat lifestyle. Originally named Squeak, our team lovingly nicknamed her Squish and the name stuck – it’s all she responds to now!

Squish is a very nervous and shy lady, but when she gets to know you she loves you! She is very talkative and loves attention. She REALLY likes her belly rubbed, but can get overstimulated. She is spooked pretty easily by loud noises or sudden movements and isn’t a big fan of being picked up. Her favorite activities are sleeping and eating.

She would prefer to be an only cat and can’t stand those noisy dogs! We think she would do best in a home where she is the only pet, there are no small children, and she can sleep without being disturbed. She would be a great companion for an older adult!

She is up to date on vaccinations and flea/tick/heartworm preventative, microchipped, and spayed. If you’re interested in Squish, please contact us via e-mail at

Shadow was brought to Mass Ave Animal Clinic by a good samaritan after his previous owner moved and left him in the yard. According to his microchip registration, he’s about 7 years old and we think he is a Poodle/Shih-Tzu mix.

He’s been staying with one of our Vet Assistants, Sara, who has dogs, cats, and kids – all of which he gets along with! He can be a little mouthy when he plays, but is a well-behaved boy overall with a typical small dog personality. He’s great at indicating when he needs to go outside!

He is up to date on vaccines, flea/tick/heartworm prevention, microchipped, neutered, and had a dental cleaning two months ago. If you’re interested in Shadow, or have other questions, please contact Sara directly via e-mail:
