Leah

Leah is a Registered Veterinary Technician who joined the City Way team in February 2021. She is a life-long Indianapolis resident who currently lives on the northwest side of town with her husband, three human children, two cats, and a dog.  In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, gardening, and cooking. 

She knew she was interested in veterinary medicine as a young child and decided to pursue her passion in 2008. She attended Harrison College’s Zionsville location and graduated in 2011. She passed the VTNE on her first try and earned her license in March 2012. In the past 10 years, she has worked in both general practice and specialty/emergency medicine. Her areas of special interest include client education, end-of-life care, and training new staff.

Leah likes working at City Way Mass Ave because it allows her to build meaningful relationships with coworkers and clients, provide gold-standard care, and exercise her training and experience on a daily basis.
